student support logo
The UCLAN Student Support & Wellbeing team are running a competition to design their new logo, so here is my response! Excuse the proportions, it was all painted freehand! It was inspired by 50s style signage paintings.

no culture icons
My entry for the No Culture Icons tote bag design competition. You had to incorporate their logo, so I decided to include it as an element of the composition!

before I could draw
Excited to say I will be taking part in Before, I Could Draw, an exhibition where a group of illustrators reinterpret childhood drawings.
The first image is by me Age 5 or 6, the second Age 22 and 3/4. I'm not sure what my six year old mind was thinking, or what this character is supposed to be (some kind of camp monkey?) but he is incredibly sassy. I had a more literal approach to reinterpretating it, as I knew I couldn't beat that original pose. It was fun to try and recreate the shapes and lines I made with my drawing back then. Sometimes we forget to just have fun when we draw and not worry about the final outcome.
The launch night for the exhibition is the 29th of November and with be held at 2022 NQ. It runs till the 7th of December. Click "attending" on the facebook event here!
comission: coroner for the police
Recently I helped out a friend of mine by creating an original deer drawing to be included in flyers for his band, Coroner For The Police. Give em a listen. They have an upcoming gig on Dec 3rd at Factory, where you can pick these flyers up for their Dec 12th gig at Academy! It was fun to work on this little project. :)

a london heritage story
I have finally finished my latest uni project! The image above depicts houses of famous pioneers in their field, some of which you may not have expected to own a residency in London. It includes plaques, an address and method of transport to visit the existing houses. I'm also entering this into the serco prize for illustration, fingers crossed!
Some details from the piece.
