jessica singh!

So I've noticed Jessica Singh now has a profile on indies art, an illustrator who's work I've admired for a while now. Following her by her alias jesskajuice, she's one of the few artists I go back on deviantart for from time to time, haha.

She creates such lovely and quirky digital illustrations and I adore all of her pieces, she's really consistent with me. It was hard not display all of them:

She's also delved into the world of textiles and craft and sells some of her products online!

You can buy some of her stuff here! To see more of her art work check out her indies art profile or her deviantart. :)

So yeah, I haven't been posting much on here lately I do admit. Ironically I made a tumblr as a side blog for more self indulgent stuff, but I tend to be using that more, haha. I'll have to get some photos up from the current project I'm working on at college...I think I'm making story boards to illustrate Amelie! Also getting my uni application in next week, 'bout time! Now if you excuse me I need to finish reading Maus for my essay on infulencial graphic novel artists...of which I have less thant two weeks to complete! :U

Holla! So we just finished our landscape/printmaking project and here are some of my prints mounted;

 Tyre print, inspired by Rauschenberg.
 Rubbings of a car.
 Collograph.
 Drypoint.

 Digital prints.

I felt that I pushed myself to be more experimental with printmaking and I'm just relieved I got all my work in on time! Pending on what mark I'll recieve, eek! So yeah we've started a new brief, it's based on personal representation and at the moment we're constructing auto biographical sculptures which will then incorporate into work around our specialist fields. I think I'm basing mine on my favourite films and incorporating illustration into it! Should be interesting. I'll keep you updated on this. c:
